Can you guess the original - no1

After I asked my friends how I could improve my skills, this is the result. Find random childrens books and redraw the original character and then draw how I would have drawn them. So baiscally it's a game of comparing. Get it ? Good.

This is my first try. I apologies for the crap scan and colouring. I would have done it on the computer but I don't have my photoshop (as you already know). Sorry about that.

So guess the book and which one of them is the original and which one of them is mine. The first one who gets it right, decides the next book I could choose. Also tell me what you think of the characters design and as such.
